February 4th we held our biggest fundraiser of the year and it was a huge success. Our record setting night could not have been possible without the many efforts of our talented and dedicated Auction Committee. Thank you to all those members who committed their time to gathering donations, setting up the event, and managing the details of the evening.
Thank you to all our donors and sponsors! We are honoured to have you supporting our auction. With your generous donations, Bittersweet Farms, Inc. and the Perrysburg Rotary Service Foundation, will be able to continue servicing our community and improving the lives of others!
Special thanks to Jerry Anderson from WTOL. Jerry was gracious enough to be our auctioneer for the evening and he did a fabulous job! It is safe to say that Jerry's extreme talent and engaging personality contributed to the success of the evening. Our Gifts from the Heart event was our biggest yet and we have to thank Jerry for tirelessly prompting the crowd to raise their paddles!
Our weekly meeting (February 17, 2017) will be held at Penta Career Center in Perrysburg, Ohio. The meeting will be a full lunch and program. If you have questions regarding the meeting or need additional information, please contact Ashley Lopez.
Brad Sander, VP at First Federal Bank and member of the Rotary Club of Oak Harbor, has been proposed for membership by Ken Robinson and approved by the Board of Directors. Mr. Sander's proposed classification will be Banks – Commercial and Savings. Barring an objection in writing from a member submitted to the club secretary by Friday, February 24th, Mr. Sander will be inducted into membership upon payment of dues and attendance at a new member orientation session.
Please continue to keep these members in your prayers:
