We have successfully raised enough money to provide 125 Thanksgiving Meals to families in need!! Thank you to everyone who donated and to those who will be volunteering on Saturday. It is a honor and blessing to have so many generous and caring Rotarians and Friends!! Veteran's Day 2017 At our Friday meeting, we asked all of our Veterans in attendance to stand and be recognized for their service! It was an incredible honor to be surrounded by such an amazing group of men and women! Thank you to those who serve and have served!! NWO Girls on the Run  Calling all volunteers, the Girls on the Run of Northwest Ohio (GOTR) has a great opportunity for you. On Saturday, November 18th, GOTR will be hosting their annual 5k run at The University of Toledo. They are in need of volunteers to assist with the many roles for this big event. If you or anyone you know would be interested in volunteering, please click here to sign up. If you are interested in participating in the 5k, Perrysburg Rotary has been given 10 complimentary entries for the November race. If you would like to use one of the complimentary codes, please contact Ashley Lopez for more information. December Club Assembly On Friday, December 1st, we will be holding our annual Club Assembly. During this meeting we will be voting on several positions for the upcoming 2018 - 2019 Rotary year. In accordance with our Bylaws, the Nominating Committee has met and provided the following list of candidates for the upcoming elections. Please click here to view the ballot. In addition to voting on new club officers and trustees, we will also be voting on proposed updates/changes being made to the Perrysburg Rotary Bylaws and Constitution. To view the proposed changes to the club Bylaws and Constitution, click here. All members of the club will have the opportunity to vote, in person, during the December 1st Club Assembly. New Member Proposal Andrew Lee has been proposed for membership by Kevin Rantanen and approved by the Board of Directors. Mr. Lee’s proposed classification will be Internet – Sales/Marketing. Barring an objection in writing from a member submitted to the club secretary by Friday, November 24th, Mr. Lee will be inducted into membership upon payment of dues and attendance at a new member orientation session. Save the Date - Perrysburg Rotary Auction The Perrysburg Rotary Auction is fast approaching! On February 3, 2018 we will be rocking the night away with our Fellow Rotarians and Friends!! While we still have time until this highly anticipated evening, there are still things we can do today to prepare. - 99 Bottles of Beer and Wine on the Wall- As part of our games throughout the evening we are ready to start collecting bottles of wine ($15 or higher value) and NEW this year, craft beers (six pack). Bring your donation to a Friday meeting at the Sergeant at Arms table. Can we collect 99 by the end of November? I think we can!
- Business Donations- Do you know a business we should send a letter to requesting a silent auction donation? Send me the name/contact information and we’ll be sure to follow up. If you would prefer to do the follow up we can provide the letter to you directly.
- Not Yet, But Soon- Begin thinking about who you know that should receive an invitation to the event. The best way to grow our event is to grow our attendees. We’ll help you with a well-crafted email or paper invite, but we need your names!
