STRIVE - Scholarship Presentation Day
Apr. 16, 2026 8:10 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.

Join us on Thursday, April 16th at Penta Career Center for one of the most meaningful STRIVE meetings of the year, Scholarship Presentation Day. This is a special opportunity for Rotary members to show their support to our 15 STRIVE scholarship winners and to hear Janel Haas and Walt Celley congratulate these outstanding students.

Rotarians play an important role in this process by offering encouragement, reviewing applications, and helping students share their stories with confidence. We encourage members to attend and lend their support as mentors and guides. This is STRIVE’s last meeting of the year, and you never know what your support for these students now may turn into in their future. Your time and insight can make a lasting impact as they take an important step toward what comes next.

Please enter at the main entrance, obtain a visitor badge, exit to the right, walk down the hallway, and enter the door on the left.

Rotary Meeting - Perrysburg Township Trustee Bob Mack
Apr. 17, 2026 11:45 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Join us on Friday, April 17th, as we welcome Perrysburg Township Trustee and fellow Rotarian Bob Mack as our guest speaker.

This is a meeting long in the making, and we are excited to finally bring this important conversation to our Rotary stage. Bob will share the latest updates and insights from Perrysburg Township as the community continues to experience meaningful growth and development.

Established in 1823, Perrysburg Township has a rich history and a strong vision for the future. With continued residential and industrial growth while maintaining its significant agricultural roots, the Township remains committed to protecting its boundaries and delivering a high level of service to its residents. Bob will provide an inside look at the Township’s priorities, ongoing initiatives, and what lies ahead for this vital part of our greater Perrysburg community.

This will be a fantastic opportunity to stay informed, ask questions, and hear firsthand how Perrysburg Township is balancing growth, service, and preservation as it continues to evolve. Join us for an engaging and informative conversation with one of our own Rotarians who is helping shape the future of our community.

Rotary Meeting - David Nunn
May 08, 2026 11:45 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

The Perrysburg Rotary Club is pleased to welcome David Nunn, owner of Grass Roots Recycling to Reuse Network, as our guest speaker this Friday, May 8th.

David Nunn is leading a powerful local movement centered on creativity, sustainability, and community impact. Through Grass Roots, he has built a unique space right here in Perrysburg where reclaimed materials are given new life and purpose. What might otherwise be discarded is transformed into something functional, meaningful, and often beautiful, proving that reuse can be both practical and inspiring.

Grass Roots is more than a workshop, it is a growing network of makers, recyclers, and community members who believe in reducing waste while preserving pieces of our past. From salvaging hardwood from historic farm structures to redistributing usable school supplies and materials to those in need, David’s work reflects a deep commitment to both environmental stewardship and community service.

His efforts align closely with Rotary’s Areas of Focus, particularly supporting the environment and community economic development. By encouraging reuse, reducing landfill waste, and fostering local creativity, Grass Roots demonstrates how small, intentional actions can lead to lasting impact.

Join us this Friday as David shares the story behind Grass Roots, the vision for a more sustainable future, and how each of us can play a role in rethinking what we throw away.

You won’t look at “junk” the same way again.

Mailbox Mission: Stamp Out Hunger Needs Rotary
May 09, 2026 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

This Saturday (May 9, 2026) is Stamp Out Hunger, and we have a powerful opportunity to step into service right here in our community.

Rotarians will be helping collect non perishable food items from neighborhood mailboxes and transporting them to PCU for sorting and distribution. This is hands on, meaningful work that directly supports PCU at a time they need it most.

We have several ways to get involved throughout the day

Morning Shadowers starting at 9:30 AM
Join a team as a driver or walker to follow postal routes, collect food from mailboxes, and return items to the post office for weighing. This typically wraps up before noon.

Afternoon Strong Backs beginning around 2:30 PM through 5:30 PM
Help unload vehicles at the post office, weigh donations, reload into trucks or SUVs, and transport to the pantry. This is where we need extra hands and energy, especially later in the day.

Sorters beginning at 3:00 PM
Assist at the pantry with sorting incoming food items. This continues until the final deliveries arrive, usually around 5:30 PM.

Drivers with trucks, vans, or SUVs
Help transport donations from the post office to the pantry throughout the afternoon.

To help organize volunteers, please use the registration link and indicate the times you are available to volunteer in the comment section.

You are welcome to volunteer for as much time as you would like. Please note that the greatest need for muscle is during the 3 to 5 shift as donations peak and the pace picks up.

ALL ARE WELCOME TO VOLUNTEER!!

Rotarians and Volunteers, this is Service Above Self in action. Let’s show up strong, support our neighbors, and make a lasting impact one mailbox at a time.

Let's Unite for Good!
