Our meeting on July 17th was full of information and opportunities.  We kicked off the meeting with a check presentation to the High Impact Peer Program (HIPP) at Perrysburg Junior High.  The HIPP program is dedicated to developing leadership, self-confidence and focusing on anti-bullying. Each year, students from the Junior High participate in the program and are encouraged to bring what they have learned back to their fellow classmates in hopes to educate and promote change.  The program has served thousands of students.

Following the check presentation, President Fehnrich made a big announcement about Rollin' with Rotary.  Rollin' with Rotary is made up of four young Rotarians who attended a young professionals conference along with Jennifer Jones (who is one of 13 RI Directors).

These fellow Rotarians will embark on a 9 day road trip in a motor-coach emblazoned with the Rotary brand. They will travel over 100,000 miles in total from State College, PA to Cedar Rapids, Iowa and they'll be making stops along the way through Rotary Zones 28-29.

The stops will include events such as: a) doing massive random acts of kindness, b) highlighting Interact, Rotaract, and Rotarian activity, and c) creating large scale community service projects.

We are incredibly honored that they be stopping in Perrysburg, Ohio on August 4th, from 9am - 11am.  On this morning we will be gathering at the Commodore Building in Downtown Perrysburg to participate in a "Water Walk".

Following our exciting announcement, our guest speaker Deb Olejownick from DJC Consulting graciously provided us with information on how to "bounce back from burnout".  During her presentations, we were educated on the differences between "Stress" and "Burnout" and the warning signs for each.
