It's a very busy time for Rotary these next few weeks and we are in need of all hands on deck.
Our first big event of the new Rotary year is the Water Walk this coming Tuesday. As the days progress along, the event is starting to come together nicely, but we are still in need of your help! Below is a detailed list of what is needed:
Riverfront/Bucket Brigade:We are looking for Rotarians (10-12) to help us at the Riverfront to form a "Bucket Brigade". Kevin Rantenan is helping us coordinate this as a means to fill the water buckets for walkers as they come to the Riverfront. We need to be as efficient as possible and expedite the filling of buckets quickly to keep the walkers moving and get them on their way back to the Commodore Building.
Volunteers: We need other volunteers to help with set-up, the food tables, pass out t-shirts, help organize the water balloon fight, fill water balloons, and clean-up.
Participants: We also need you to participate and spread the word about this event to others. A flyer is attached for your use/distribution. Please join us for the walk and participate in this significant event even if you are not able to volunteer.

Following our Fine Master, Bruce Samuleson and Ken Robinson presented Perrysburg Christians United with a grant of $3,500.00 for the PCU Food Pantry. Our guest speakers for the week were Rotarian Steve Shives and Jeremy Zeisloft from the Fort Meigs YMCA. They presented us with a information on the programs offered at the Y, community involvement and a small glimpse of their plans for the future.
FEED OUR FAMILIES - On Friday, July 17th, several fellow Rotarians volunteered their time at Zoar Lutheran Church for the Feed Our Families program. They were able to provide services to 24 families (over 100 individuals). As you might recall, our club proudly presented this program with a grant for $200.00 on July 16th.
