You've undoubtedly heard the phrase "All Hands on Deck!" Those words are never more true for us than Auction Week! While the committee has been working hard for months, it takes many more Rotarians to pull this off on Saturday. Read below and come to the meeting to find out how you can help and when!
We could also use your help with our search for a club administrator. Please note the story posted on our website and below. We could certainly use your help in finding qualified candidates. You'll see the position description on the right side of our homepage.
We also have special news from District 6600. This week, the District Governor for 2017-18 was announced. Deb Cheney of the Waterville Rotary Club will follow District Governor Elect Gary Newton and District Governor Nominee Do Nguyen to lead our district during Chet Welch's year as club president. I encourage you to read more about it at www.rotarydistrict6600.org. When you visit the site, you will notice that it has been completely transformed. This work represents hundreds of hours of creative effort by our own Alison Frye, District Public Image Chair, so congratulate her and let her know what you think!
Lastly - please note our changed meeting location for Friday. We will meet at Hilton Garden Inn at Levis Commons! You'll be lonely at the Carranor but you'll find great fellowship at the HGI in Levis Commons. See you there!
As of today's e-Bulletin, we have three days to show time! Your committee is working hard to create another great event for 250 Rotarians and guests.
Here's how you can help out.
Pick up a gift card to be used in a game of chance at the event. We need 27 more!!
Come to Breakfast and Help Set-up! It's ALL HANDS ON DECK! You'll enjoy a great time with your Rotary friends and some pre-event shenanigans. And it's truly impressive to watch the ballroom transform into our Light the Night Venue!
Bring in your items!! If you've submitted your sheet but not your item, Friday is your last chance to get it in!
Give a big shout out to Rick and his committee for all of their work. Let's lighten the load on our friends and help them finish strong!
