Friday (1/22) we welcome Alex Gerken is President of Fifth Third Bank. Prior to joining Fifth Third, Alex served as Middle Market Manager for the Commercial Division and Business Banking Executive for 6 years. In 2001 he joined Fifth Third Bank in the Commercial Banking division and in 2006 he was promoted to Vice President, Business Banking Team Leader. Shortly after, Alex was named Business Banking Executive in 2007. In early 2010 he was promoted to Senior Vice President of Business Banking. January 2021, Alex was promoted to President of Fifth Third Bank.

A MUCH-DESERVED RECOGNITION TO ROTA-MEAL ROTARIANS!!!
The Club is proud partners with the Wood County Office on Aging’s Home-Delivered Meals Program. This is our thirteenth month of continued service in partnership with the Wood County Office on Aging. The fourth Thursday of every month (next delivery is January 28th) two Perrysburg Rotarians meet at 11:00 am at the Perrysburg Senior Center to pick up prepared meals for delivery to the denizens of McCauley Court.
This is a HUGE THANK YOU FOR SERVICE to Rotarians BILL IRWIN and JOHN WLODARSKI! Both Bill and John were part of the small group that kicked off the project in late 2019! Bill made the first and second very cold Christmas deliveries along with his other service days! John jumped in and made “solo” deliveries and helped with extra deliveries! The Club thanks you for your commitment to this wonderful service project!
Rotarian Phil Bollin and Jeff Oster are now on board. Rotarians Jim Nooney and Jill Perry will make the January deliveries.
