Perrysburg Rotary Weekly Meeting for September 8, 2023
 
Join us Friday, September 8th, as we welcome guest speaker Kate Fineske.  Kate is the Senior Director of Institutional Advancement at the National Museaum of the Great Lakes.  

"The Great Lakes are not only the most important natural resource in the world, but they also represent thousands of years of history. The lakes have dramatically impacted the social, economic and political history of the North American continent. The National Museum of the Great Lakes tells the awe-inspiring stories of our Great Lakes through breathtaking photography, over 300 incredible artifacts, a number of powerful audiovisual displays and 40 hands-on interactive exhibits including the 617-foot iron ore freighter Col. James M. Schoonmaker Museum Ship and the historic Museum Tug Ohio.  Click here to explore the museum and the Schoonmaker.

The tales told here span hundreds of years, from the fur traders in the 1600s to the Underground Railroad operators in the 1800s, the rum runners in the 1900s, to the sailors on the thousand-footers sailing today.   • As you join us for lunch this week, we respectfully ask that you silence your phones/notifications at the start of program. 

  • If you are paying for your lunch online, ​​​please click here to log into your Rotary Account.  Then click on "My Account Balance" to pay for your lunch.  Lunch is $20.00.  We will also be accepting payment at the meeting by check or exact cash.  A buffet meal will be hosted at the Carranor Club starting at 11:45am.

Join us on the 4th Monday of every month for Rotary After Hours!

This month we head back to Rosaria's on Third for some Fellowship, Food and Fun. 

No need to RSVP, just join us in the side room at Rosaria's after 5pm on 9/25.  Feel free to bring a partner/spouse or prospective member!
