We are honored to welcome Nichole Khoury, Founder of Project iAm, as our guest speaker on Friday, February 13, 2026.
Nichole will share the story behind Project iAm and Acoustics for Autism, which began in the fall of 2007 with a simple conversation over cocktails at Doc Watson's about hosting a musical benefit for a cause close to her heart. Inspired by the real financial struggles faced by friends raising children with autism, Nichole brought the idea to life in early 2008.
What started as a small benefit quickly grew when an overwhelming crowd gathered on March 9, 2008, at The Village Idiot, raising nearly $10,000 at the very first event. Those funds were directed straight to care providers and designated for individual children, helping families access the treatments their children needed.
From that moment, Project iAm was born, growing into a 100% volunteer-based 501(c)(3) dedicated to providing resources, guidance, and financial assistance to families, empowering them to find the right path for their child and helping shorten the journey from diagnosis to effective care.
