The impact of Rotary knows no borders! Join us on Friday, October 30th, as fellow Rotarian Lorena Gloden shares the story behind theWorld of the Senses Global Grant project at Instituto La Esperanza in Cúcuta, Colombia. Through a partnership between the District 6600 (Sponsor District), District 4271(Colombia), Perrysburg Rotary Club, Maumee Rotary Club, Cucuta II Rotary Club, and other international Rotary partners, this initiative is helping create a specialized multisensory learning and therapeutic environment for individuals with intellectual, sensory, and physical disabilities. With a $10,000 contribution from the Perrysburg Rotary and the Grant Sponsorship of $18,500 from Rotary District 6600, our local Rotary community is helping make a difference thousands of miles from home. This is a wonderful opportunity to witness the global impact of a grant that began right here in Northwest Ohio! Lorena will share the vision, partnerships, and work behind this international project, demonstrating how Rotarians working together can turn local generosity into lasting global impact. Join us as we celebrate the power of Rotary connections and discover how we're Creating Lasting Impact, one community, one partnership, and one grant at a time! |
