Meeting News April 25, 2014
It’s finally feeling like April and we are already to our last Rotary meeting of the month. And just like the weather, we are warming up our efforts with some awesome opportunities to serve.
Make sure you read on in the bulletin about a great opportunity to serve at Serenity Farm on Saturday May 3, 2014. Not only have we supported Serenity Farm financially this year through a grant from Perrysburg Rotary Service Foundation, but we now have the chance to roll up our sleeves and pitch in as they clean up the stables for spring. Bring your family, friends and children to this event.
And of course, there is lots going on with our annual Community Sale on May 31, 2014. This is an all hands on deck kind of project so whether you are finding items, participating in pick-ups, making baked goods or working on the day of the sale…find a way to get involved!
Our meeting Friday features Perrysburg Rotarian Alison Frye, but she will be sharing information from the perspective of her role as District 6600’s Public Image Chair. Many in this world still don’t know who Rotary is and we often have a difficult time explaining to others exactly what it is we do and why they should be a part of it. Through a refreshed branding perspective, Rotary International has been diligently working to Tell Rotary's Story and has offered some great new resources to help us along.
