When was the last time you brought a guest to Rotary? We have some great speakers (David Livingston, Dean Monske, Mark Wasylyshyn) coming up in the next few weeks that would be an ideal opportunity to invite someone you know to join you at lunch on Friday. While guests don’t have to be prospective members, the more guests we bring, the more opportunities we have to discuss membership in a Rotary club and to share all of the amazing things we are doing as Rotarians in the world. And if your guest likes what they see, invite them back. After 2-3 meetings, guests have a greater understanding of what we do and might be ready to take the plunge into membership.
 

Our speaker this Friday is Dr. David Livingston, President of Lourdes University. On July 1, 2013 Dr. Livingston became the institution’s ninth president. You can read more about Dr. Livingston HERE.
 

GOLF OUTING REMINDER: If you haven’t already, please register for the Golf Outing on Friday August 15, 2014. You can register ONLINE or by completing this paper registration form. This is always a fun outing with some great prizes at the end. See you there! Thanks to Matt Skotynsky for organizing the day.
 

Last thing, the relaxed pace of summer is coming quickly to a close and our club will be ramping up the service opportunities. There are lots of ways to be involved from the auction committee to the River Run to the Weekend of Service (Harrison Rally Day weekend).
