She shoots, she scores!
On April 28, 2008, Tricia Cullop came to the University of Toledo with the daunting task of rebuilding a Mid-American Conference powerhouse. Fast forward five seasons and Cullop and her squads have hung four postseason banners, including a 2011 WNIT championship banner, two MAC regular-season title banners and four West Division crown banners from the rafters of Savage Arena. Considering the Rockets experienced five-consecutive losing campaigns prior to Cullop’s arrival, UT’s quick turnaround has truly been a testament to her coaching ability (bio credit).
Not only has Coach Cullop succeeded on the court, but she is known as an incredible mentor to her players, many of whom are the first generation college students. You can also find Coach Cullop involved with community organizations like Susan G. Komen and Habitat for Humanity.
We are pleased to have Tricia Cullop join us this week at Perrysburg Rotary. August is membership month for Rotary International so why not use this week’s topic as a catalyst to invite someone you think would be a great Rotarian to join you as a guest?
