How much does it cost to provide clean water to children in Haiti? Immunize children against polio in Pakistan? Rescue girls from the streets in Romania? How about just $10 per month? Could you give up one lunch or four stops to Starbucks each month to make a difference in the name of Rotary?
From May 10-May 20, any contribution of $100 to The Rotary Foundation will receive 100 additional Paul Harris recognition points. Even better, sign up to have your contribution automatically deducted via checking account or credit card and you will receive 50 bonus recognition points. This is a great way to add up points for your first Paul Harris Fellow or earn a subsequent award for yourself or a family member.
To make your contribution, print out this FORM and bring it to our meeting tomorrow or we will have extra forms on hand that you can complete during the meeting. Turn your completed form in to Rob Fox or Alison Frye and we will make sure your contributions are included in this special, 10 day only District 6600 promotion.
How are we doing so far as a club? For this Rotary year (ending June 30) we committed to raise $12,500. We are currently at $7,930. Our club loves a good challenge and will take this one on like all the others!
Remember, each Rotarian is asked to give $100 every year. It’s a program called Every Rotarian, Every Year. It’s what we do. It’s who we are.
