Our Featured Speaker: Jeff Sailer

Mr. Sailer received his B.S. in Zoology from Ball State University and his M.S. in Zoology from the University of Florida.

Prior to being named as the Executive Director of The Toledo Zoo in August, 2012, Mr. Sailer was the Director of City Zoos/Facility Director at the Central Park Zoo in New York City. He also served in several other capacities during his six year tenure at that institution. Prior to that, he was Curator of Birds at the Miami Metrozoo. As part of his avian research work, Mr. Sailer participated in several expeditions to Papua New Guinea and the Kingdom of Tonga.

Mr. Sailer is a member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) and has served on a number of advisory groups and committees.
