As promised, it's another busy week at Rotary. With the successful Water Walk finished up, we are ready to jump into our next big event, the 19th Annual Perrysburg Rotary Golf Outing on August 14th! A RECAP OF LAST WEEK'S MEETING (August 7, 2015) - President Fehnrich started us off with a brief recap of the Water Walk. She was also gracious enough to provide us a slide show of photos from the event (there will be a link to the photos coming soon). Following the weekly updates, Scott Prephan gave a vocational speech. Scott is the President of Prephan Enterprises, LTD and 5 Lakes Global Realty. He has helped business relocate to Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan and is currently working to develop a new residential community in Marblehead, Ohio. To finish up our program for the week, guest speaker Dana Nemeth from the Wood County Historical Museum provided us with the extensive history of the museum and their upcoming events.
THIS WEEK’S PROGRAM (August 14, 2015) - We will be meeting at the Belmont Country Club for our weekly meeting! Our guest speaker will be Brad Apple, Belmont CC Golf Professional.
REMINDER!!! - Is your birthday this month (hint hint: August Birthday)? We are in need of replenishing our wine stock for the Queen of Hearts drawing and as a reminder, if it is your birthday month, please bring either a bottle of wine or $10.00 for your "wine dues". Don't worry, if you missed your birthday month, Pat Amico will gladly accept your wine or $10.00!
