This week we gather for our first meeting of the new Rotary year.  As many of you may recall our theme for this year is Be a Gift to the World.  We each have many gifts to offer.  Our gifts can come in forms of service to others or the wisdom and knowledge we offer to share.  These gifts are powerful and greatly appreciated amongst your fellow Rotarians and Community.  
 
We have the opportunity to make this a memorable year and share in the vision that President Jennifer Fehnrich outlined in her induction speech.  This year we will:
  • Sponsor and organize the Perrysburg Bicentennial Parade in an effort to help the City of Perrysburg celebrate its 200th year anniversary.
  • Create more opportunities for fellowship and new member recruitment through activities like the new “Social at Social” on the 4th Mondays of each month.
  • Identify and offer more hands-on service projects.
  • Develop and begin implementation of a Strategic Plan to set the course and guide our Club to future success.
  • We will maintain the strong tradition of our signature auction event, community garage sale, the Learning Day-by-Day program, and so much more.
We have many wonderful and exciting opportunities coming up this year and we hope that this Rotary year will be full of your gifts to the world.

COMMITTEE MEETING SIGN UP - At the June Club Assembly, President Jennifer Fehnrich provided committee sign up sheets to all members in attendance.  If you haven't filled out your committee form you can email Jennifer_fehnrich@owens.edu for an electronic copy or you can pick up a copy at the Sergeant at Arms table.
 
FEED OUR FAMILIES -  On July 17th fellow Rotarians will be volunteering at Zoar Lutheran Church for the Feed Our Families program.  To learn more about this program, click here. 
 
SOCIAL @ SOCIAL- July 27th is our next Social @ Social,  we hope to see you there. (remember: this event can be used a make up!)
