Last week we welcomed Mike Deetsch, Director of Education at the Toledo Museum of Art, as our guest speaker.  Mike gave us a wonderful presentation on the "I Approve This Message: Decoding Political Ads" exhibition currently on display at the museum.  Mike provided us with information on how political ads influence our emotions and how they are impacting our thinking and decision making during election time.  This exhibition was set to leave the museum on November 8th but has been extended to November 13th!!  To learn more about this exhibition or the Toledo Museum of Art, click here.  
 
 
Annual PCU Thanksgiving Drive
 
Last week, we made a huge jump towards our goal of helping to provide more than 100 local families with a Thanksgiving meal!!!  We still have one week left to accept donations!!! To make a donation online, please click here.  We will also be accepting donations at the weekly meeting.

Calling all volunteers, the Girls on the Run of Northwest Ohio (GOTR) has a great opportunity for you.  On Saturday, November 19th, GOTR will be hosting their annual 5k run at The University of Toledo - Sullivan Athletic Complex & Savage Arena.  They are in need of volunteers to assist with the many roles for this big event.  If you or anyone you know would be interested in volunteering, please click here to sign up.
