The 2015 PCU Thanksgiving Fund Drive is still going strong. As Jill mentioned on Friday, she is working to coordinate a few smaller details to make this day even more special for the families who will be waiting. We will continue to accept donations for the Thanksgiving Fund Drive through Friday, November 13th. If you are interested in donating online, click here. Congratulation goes out to new members Sarah Bucher and Susan Rees. Sarah and Susan were inducted to the Club on Friday, November 6th. Sarah is the Public Relations Director at Citizens Advisory Group. Susan is the Transplant Director for the Alliance for Paired Donations. Make sure to give them a warm welcome at the next meeting.
Our guest speaker for this past week was Scott Halbur from the Toledo FBI. Scott provided us with a very informative presentation about the Toledo FBI unit and the typical cases that they are working with. Scott helped to outline the differences between the different Cyber Crimes that the community is experiencing and how to protect yourself against these crimes. Below is a list of websites that can be used to protect yourself against these types of crimes.
