Perrysburg Rotary e-Bulletin for November 4, 2015
Wow, we ended October a strong note! This past week, we were fortunate enough to add two new members our Club. Rebecca Butler and J.D. Ettore were inducted during our October 30th meeting. Rebecca and J.D. are both former Rotarians who have relocated to our area. Rebecca, a former member of the Dayton Rotary Club and has resided in Perrysburg for the last few years with her husband and two children. J.D. is a former member of the Fort Scott Rotary Club in Kansas. He has recently moved to Ohio and will be joined by his wife and two children at the end of the school year. Make sure to give them a warm welcome at the next meeting.
Our Fine Master for last week was Hallie Nagel. Hallie has been a member of the Club since 2007, works for The Farmers & Merchant State Bank, and works with our Perrysburg Interact Club. Hallie spoke to the Club about her top five most memorable moments of being a Rotarian and how much of an impact the Club has had on her. Her number one most memorable moment was when she was presented with her Paul Harris Pin at the same time as her husband Ed.
To round out our meeting, we had a presentation from our guest speaker Janet Miller. Janet is a the Employer Outreach Coordinator at Hospice of Northwest Ohio and is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. Janet gave us an exceptional presentation on how to manage demands of life and finding our true happiness. She has been instrumental in helping several people find their true happiness and helping people think more positively.
We kicked off the 2015 PCU Thanksgiving Fund Drive this past week. If you are interested in donating online, click here. You may also make donations at the weekly meetings.
