We are honored to welcome City of Perrysburg Mayor and fellow Rotarian Mark Weber as our guest speaker on Friday, March 27th.

This meeting will feature Mayor Weber’s first official State of the City address, and we are incredibly excited for our club to be among the first to hear his vision and updates for the Perrysburg community.

A lifelong Perrysburg resident, Mayor Weber has called our city home for more than 60 years. A 1975 graduate of Perrysburg High School, he spent his professional career with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 8, retiring in 2019. His commitment to public service continued through extensive community involvement, including leadership with the Historic Landmarks Commission, participation in the Perrysburg Fire Division Strategic Plan, and graduation from the Perrysburg Citizens Police Academy.

Mayor Weber was elected to Perrysburg City Council in 2021, where he chaired the Finance and Economic Development Committee and served on the Personnel and Service Committees, helping guide important fiscal and operational decisions for the city. In addition to serving as our Mayor, he remains active in the community through the Perrysburg Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Perrysburg Area Historic Museum, and as a proud member of Perrysburg Rotary.

When he is not serving the community, Mayor Weber enjoys bicycling, pickleball, and researching local history. He and his wife, Raquel, whom he first met at Perrysburg Junior High, share a love for travel and are working their way through road trips to all 50 states, with only three left to visit. Together they are proud parents of three married children and grandparents to four grandchildren.

Join us as we welcome Mayor Weber for this special State of the City presentation and hear firsthand about the progress, priorities, and future of Perrysburg.
