Rotary Dues and Fees
By now you should have received an invoice and statement via email for your 2012 Dues and Fees. Payment for these items is due on January 16th, 2012. Non-payment will be reported to the Board of Directors at that date. Here are a few helpful hints based on the questions I'm receiving:
Q: Why is my account statement balance less than my invoice amount?
A: If you have completed make-ups at other clubs your amount due will be less than the annual invoice amount of $800. If you over pay your amount dues you will have the option to have the credit balance forwarded to Rotary International or to the Perrysburg Rotary Service Foundation per our bylaws.
Q: I typically pay my dues quarterly? Why am I receiving a statement to pay $800?
A: If you have been approved by the board to pay quarterly, you still technically owe the entire yearly amount. Please use your account statement to pay your first quarter payment of $200. Each quarter you will see your balance go down until the end of the year when your statement reaches zero.
Q: My business or personal commitments are preventing me from participation in the club. If I don't pay my dues will you assume that I am resigning?
A: No. If you do not intend to continue with the club in 2012 please send notification by email (afrye@signaturebankna.com) or by mail to PO Box 442 Perrysburg OH 43552.
Q: My inbox is a tad bit full and/or I may have accidentally deleted my invoice. Can you resend?
A: Absolutely. Please reply to this email and I will be happy to resend your invoice statement.
Finally, thank you so much to the 13 members who have already paid. Keep in mind, many companies have a deadline for year-end accounts payable. Don't delay...pay today! =)
Yours in Rotary,
Alison Frye
