We are excited to invite you to join us for the Rotary Maumee River Cleanup on Saturday, September 13th from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, hosted by Partners for Clean Streams (PCS). This is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful impact in our community while enjoying fellowship together.

📍 Meeting Location:
Orleans Park – 655 Maumee Western Reserve Rd., Perrysburg, OH 43551
PCS staff will be on-site in the parking lot by 8:30 AM to set up equipment and greet early arrivals.

🗓 Schedule:

  • 8:30–9:00 AM: Arrivals, waiver collection, and equipment handout

  • 9:00 AM: Welcome, safety briefing, and mission overview

  • 9:15–11:30 AM: Cleanup at assigned locations

  • 11:30–12:00 PM: Return to Orleans Park for trash weigh-in, data collection, and wrap-up

🌍 Cleanup Locations:

  • Primary Site: Orleans Park

  • Additional Sites (if enough volunteers):
    • Buttonwood / Betty C. Black Recreation Area – 27174 Hull Prairie Rd., Perrysburg
    • Hood Park – 261 E. Broadway St., Maumee

👟 What to Bring & Wear:

  • Closed-toe shoes (required) and long pants

  • Reusable water bottle

  • Weather-appropriate clothing (we’ll work rain or shine)
    PCS will provide gloves, trash bags, grabbers, and data sheets.

📝 Liability Waivers:
All participants must sign a Clean Your Streams liability form before starting. Please print and sign your form ahead of time if possible – extras will be available on-site. Minors must have a parent/guardian signature.

🍴 Fellowship Lunch:
After the cleanup, we invite you to stay for a fellowship lunch. When registering, please indicate in the comments section whether you plan to stay for lunch. If not, simply note “No lunch.”
