Our Friday meeting was packed full of information.  Greg Rufty was our Fine Master for the week and gave us a great vocational presentation.  Greg is the Managing Partner/COO of Extra Virgin Food Services.  He has over 30+ years of working in food services, with opportunities of catering several prominent and large events in the Toledo area, as well as catering for several well known entertainers.  After Greg's vocational, he provided the club with some very important and valuable information on the heimlich maneuver.  Not long ago, Greg had to use the heimlich maneuver on a Fellow Rotarian during our weekly meeting.  Greg's fast action and knowledge of the abdominal thrusts was critical in helping save a life.

After our very informative Fine Master presentation, we heard from Tim Monaco, Regional Liaison from the Ohio Secretary of State's Office.  Tim highlighted the importance of the upcoming elections and the issues on the ballot for November 3rd.  He also gave us insight on how to become a Poll Worker and helped us to better understand Issues 1, 2, and 3.  To learn more about the upcoming elections, click here.
