If you have been around Rotary for a while, you will remember in 2016 our Club lovingly helped host the Perrysburg Bicentennial.
An incredible opportunity to help our community celebrate such a milestone. As part of our efforts, we were able to kick off the Bicentennial parade with this beautiful float, a replica of the U.S. Brig Niagara.
Since 2016 we have reassembled the float from time to time to make an appearance but sadly the time had come for us to make a decision about the future of the float. With the help of Rotarian Jeff Schaller, the float was donated the to the Wood County Park District and has been transformed for a new purpose.
