A note from President-Elect Jennifer

I attended the Presidents-Elect Training Seminar March 13-14 and found myself both inspired and energized as I continue to think about my upcoming year as president. Friday afternoon was dedicated to training at the District level. All of the president-elects for District 6600 met to learn about club meetings, club goals, bylaws, public relations/branding, recruiting volunteers, and more. It was an especially proud moment to see that our own Perrsyburg Rotarians Alison Frye and Ken Robinson provided much of the training throughout the weekend. The second day consisted of sessions attended by president-elects from all districts in Ohio, with very valuable breakout sessions conducted by club size. This provided an opportunity to benchmark and exchange ideas among clubs of similar size to Perrysburg. The P.E.T.S. training certainly provided me a lot of great ideas to think about.
Thank you for supporting my training in Columbus! It won't be long until Jon is celebrating as past president and I embark upon my year!
