This week we pause to honor Paul Harris, who passed away on January 27, 1947.
More than a century ago, Paul Harris had a simple but powerful idea: that people from different professions could come together in friendship to serve their communities and make the world better. From that idea grew Rotary International, now uniting neighbors, leaders, and problem-solvers across the globe.
Paul Harris believed that service was strongest when grounded in fellowship, integrity, and goodwill. His vision reminds us that lasting change begins with relationships and a shared commitment to something bigger than ourselves.
Today, and every day, we honor his legacy by living out Rotary’s mission in our communities and beyond. #ServiceAboveSelf
