Before we get too far, REMEMBER - we meet at PENTA CAREER CENTER on Friday this week!  Now that that is settled...

This Friday, February 20, is one of our days of service.  Walt Celley is looking for people who can spend some time with our STRIVE Program participants in the morning. It would be nice to have a few Rotarians help us work with the students on completing their scholarship applications.  The activity will begin around 9:00 a.m. at the Perrysburg Township public safety facility at 26609 Lime City Road.  Use the fire station main entrance.  We will be in the training center.  After the applications have been completed, there will be a tour of the Township's state of the art fire station.  If you can help out, please contact Walt at waltercelley@gmail.com.

STRIVE will also be our program when we have lunch at Penta Career Center.  The culinary program at Penta is outstanding and the students do a great job of cooking and serving.  They look forward to having us and it is always a special day for the Rotarians, too.  Please make sure to adjust your calendars to note the change in location.  I know our students and Walt and the STRIVE Committee will appreciate your support.

A note about the weather...  Barring a Level 3 snow emergency, our meeting at Penta will take place as scheduled.  Should schools be closed or delayed on Friday, The STRIVE student meeting at the Township Public Safety building will be canceled.

Read on in this week's bulletin for other announcements such as the continuing search for candidates for Club Administrator.  I also want to call out Jim Euting's request for payment of dues.  We have already had to make payment to Rotary International and our District for dues payments.  Please connect with Jim to make your payment now or email him with a request to pay quarterly.
